Can I add multiple phone numbers to one WeaveGrid account?
At this time, WeaveGrid does not support adding multiple phone numbers to a single account.
Which phone number should I use?
We recommend using the phone number of the person who primarily drives the vehicle. This ensures that the most relevant charging notifications and updates are delivered to the right person.
Why doesn’t WeaveGrid support multiple phone numbers yet?
We understand that many households share a vehicle, and this is a common request. While the feature isn’t available today, our team is actively working on adding support for multiple phone numbers in the future.
Are there any workarounds in the meantime?
Yes — here are a few options you can use today:
Forward notifications: The primary account holder can forward important SMS updates to the secondary driver. Shared dashboard access: Both drivers can log into the WeaveGrid dashboard to view the same charging plans and vehicle information. Manual charge override: About 15 minutes after plugging in (once WeaveGrid creates the charging plan), a second driver can log into the dashboard and select “Charge Now” to manually start charging.
Will this feature be available in the future?
Yes. Supporting multiple phone numbers on a single account is on our roadmap, and we hope to offer this functionality in the near future.
